Tips on the burning behavior of our candles for long-lasting and efficient use:

Step 1 - Shorten the wick:
Before lighting the candle for the first time, the wick length must be checked. As our candles are handmade, this can always vary. If necessary, the wick should be shortened to approx. 0.5 to 1 cm.
This length should be maintained during further burning to ensure the best possible burning behavior.

Step 2 - Burn-in time:
Our candles consist of 100& vegetable stearin and require a burn-in time during the first burning process. The top layer must liquefy completely, which can take 4-6 hours to avoid tunnel formation.
