Native Yam Vodka is the latest product from Seven Seasons and was launched in mid-2021 and has already been awarded double gold at the World Wine & Spirits Competition in October 2021. The star of this vodka is the yam, which is harvested by hand by the Larrakia Aborigines in the tropical north of Australia.
The yam comes from the potato family and has a somewhat coconut-like flavour. It is also often eaten raw by the locals and comes with notes of wasabi.\ The yam is macerated in vodka and gives this great vodka a creamy, warm and earthy flavour with a hint of nutty notes.

Seven Seasons was founded by Australian Larrakia native and former AFL professional footballer, Daniel Motlop, and is a premium spirits company with the motto The Worlds Oldest New Flavours. The products are inspired by the Seven Seasons as defined by the Larrakia Aboriginal people.

Seven Seasons' Native Yam Vodka is a product of the rainy season (November / December), when the distinctive bell-shaped flower appears, it tells us that the yam is ripe. It's the perfect time to dig them up as the soil is a little softer from the rain.
