One of the factors that gives these beers their unique Coopers flavour and cloudy appearance is a process called natural conditioning.

For this purpose, a small amount of live yeast is added to this beer shortly before bottling. This triggers a second fermentation in the bottle or can, which carbonates the beer and eliminates the need for preservatives and additives.
